I was born and raised on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, now living in Placerville, California, for 40 years. I’m creating art from my home studio located near the El Dorado National Forest.

I discovered fused glass art later in life. After working decades in the telecommunications industry, it was a complete surprise when the right side of my brain kicked in.

I have been working with fused glass for over 14 years, and gain my inspiration from traveling and nature. My art features movement, functionality and texture. Making fused glass by hand, each piece is a one of a kind.

Fused glass are separate pieces of glass melted together in a kiln at very high temperature, and I normally fuse to 1400 degrees. The pieces melt in the kiln multiple times to achieve the perfect, smooth-edges shape. The melting process makes the glass pieces very strong.
