Kacey Garfinkel is an artist specializing in western themed pencil drawings.

Growing up in a small country town as the daughter of an equine veterinarian and an ex-three-day-event rider, Kacey spent most of her childhood on top of a horse. Being brought up within the cutting horse community, often traveling from horse show to horse show, Kacey really came to appreciate her sport’s unique and special way of life.

The cutting community is a small, tight-knit subculture that places an emphasis on family, patriotism, patience, hard work, and respect — all values instilled in Kacey from a young age. As she grew older and began to explore her interest in art, all these ideals coalesced into one representative subject — the horse.

Over the years, Kacey has worked to combine her two loves — art and horses — into one cohesive passion that works to capture her appreciation of the animal, as well as share the western way of life that has shaped her into the person she is today.
